The concept of POWR was initially envisioned by Shawn
 who in turn collaborated with the business partners
 of D&H Therapy Associates, LLC. 
Shawn is both an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Industrial Ergonomist
whose career has primarily focused in the area of industrial rehabilitation. 
Shawn has extensive clinical and administrative experience with strong
relationships with physicians, nurse case managers and fellow ergonomists. 
Shawn has performed in excess of 650 job site visits writing the
required and technically involved Ergonomic Intervention Report for each visit.

Shawn's strong clinical, administrative, ergonomic
and business experiences make him an
intergral part of the ownership and clinical team of POWR.

Kristen Baxter, PT, CHT
Physical Therapist

Kristen is a perfect compliment to the POWR team with 
20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. 
Her clinical focus is orthopedic rehabilitation. 
In 2001, Kristen received her board certification in hand and upper
extremity rehabilitation. 
Since that time, her clinical practice has focused on this specialty. 
Kristen is also certified in lymph edema management. 
Kristen's clinical experience includes treatement of complicated hand
and upper extremity injuries such as
flexor tendon repairs, crush injuries, nerve injuries and 
upper extremity amputations. 
Kristen has extensice clinical training in the area of prosthetics. 
In addition, Kristen specializes in custom splint fabrication
for any upper extremity diagnosis.
